Policewoman Jude Sawyer (Rosie Rowell) has ended her relationship with fellow cop Matt Kearney (Daniel Craig), who still harbors feelings for her. Jude's current assignment has her going undercover to investigate salesman Graham Ives (Peter Howitt), whose wife mysteriously vanished. Jude wears a wire and begins dating Graham. Matt listens in on the recorded conversations and grows increasingly obsessed with Jude and Graham's relationship as it shows signs of becoming genuine.
