Nov 27, 2019 · As a progressive mystery, Knives Out is a very fashionable movie with it's grand ensemble of fresh and familiar faces. With some very snarky and slick writing, these characters are albeit memorable, most notably Daniel Craig's Detective Blanc and Chris Evan's Ransome, however, the film fails to make full use of the ensemble to the greatest extent.

- Harlan's house was actually shot in three different locations. The exterior of the Harlan's home was a gothic revival mansion located slightly outside of Boston, but the interior was shot in the Ames Mansion, a 1,200 acre estate that belonged to Blanche Ames Ames, an inventor, artist, and women's rights activist.
