  8. Oct 1, 2006 · This is the essential 3PO recording. Lotte Lenya put this German recording together in Berlin in 1958 after the Broadway revival of 1954. You get the translation along with the CD--so you must hear it in German. Lenya recreates the original style (the "singing actors") of the 1928 Berlin production. Don't worry.
