I don't know who the hell had the idea of converting the story of Joseph and Potiphar's wife into a racy-humor musical with saucy little songs, but I 'get' why that play would have caught the eye of Julio Bracho and his UNAM crew, especially if the story has symboliste/French-romantic cred beyond the obscure novel by Petrus Borel.
