Lake Macatawa Loop. Head out on this 1.8-mile loop trail near Holland, Michigan. Generally considered an easy route, it takes an average of 46 min to complete. This is a popular trail for birding, camping, and hiking, but you can still enjoy some solitude during quieter times of day.

There are two campgrounds- the wooded Lake Macatawa campground, and the beachside campground. For more information about the campgrounds, visit the Michigan DNR website. Michigan residents: THERE IS NO DAY PASS. An Annual Passport is $17 at the Park. Out of State Residents: Annual Pass $36 or Daily Admission $10.
Mar 8, 2024 · The Lake Macatawa Campground features two loops of sites, Pines and Woodstock. The Pines Loop offers a more traditional campground experience, with sites nestled in wooded terrain. The Woodstock Loop meanwhile boasts a more open layout with abundant direct sunlight but remains backdropped by wooded scenery.
