Feb 16, 2023 · The FISU games are concluded, Main Street is back open to traffic, and the Lake Placid Public Library is back to its regular hours of operation, from 9:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on saturday. AARP tax help. We are fortunate to have the AARP volunteers preparing taxes again this year.

Aug 18, 2022 · The Lake Placid Public Library has been busy this summer with visitors and patrons browsing all the services we have to offer. We have received numerous compliments on the library gardens that are gleaming in vivid colors, and it is great to see many of our friends from Canada back in the area.
