Lance Barber (born June 29, 1973) is an American actor. He is known for playing George Cooper, Sr. on the CBS sitcom Young Sheldon (2017–2024), as well as Bill Ponderosa on the FX show It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia.
Moving to Los Angeles to try it out, Barber made his first TV appearance on Gilmore Girls. His breakout role came in 2005, when he played Paulie G. in HBO's The Comeback with co-star Lisa Kudrow. As of 2024, Barber plays George Cooper, Sr. on the TV show Young Sheldon, a spin-off of The Big Bang Theory.
