Lee Shallat Chemel (born June 15, 1943, in Los Angeles, California), sometimes credited as Lee Shallat, is an American film and television director and television producer. She began her professional directorial career at the South Coast Repertory theatre in Costa Mesa, California, while working at the same time as the head of the theatre's conservatory program.
