Leslie James Clark (November 17, 1907 - September 12, 1979) is an American animator and the first Disney's Nine Old Men. He was born in Ogden, Utah to James Clark and Lute Wadsworth. Clark started work at the studio first as a camera operator and doing ink and paint on the animations.
Les animated on or directed nearly 20 features, including Pinocchio, Dumbo, Saludos Amigos, So Dear to My Heart, One Hundred and One Dalmatians, Song of the South, Fun and Fancy Free, Cinderella, Alice in Wonderland, Peter Pan, and Lady and the Tramp, as well as more than 100 shorts.
