Cozy Powell. Cozy Powell (born Colin Trevor Flooks; 29 December 1947 – 5 April 1998) was an English drummer who made his name with major rock bands and artists such as The Jeff Beck Group, Rainbow, Michael Schenker Group, Gary Moore, Graham Bonnet, Brian May, Whitesnake, Emerson, Lake & Powell, and Black Sabbath.
Apr 5, 2024 · Reportedly, the driver’s final words were: “Shit, I can’t get it out of fourth gear.”. The driver – Cozy Powell – died that same night of his injuries in hospital. Next morning, the papers revealed that the life of Powell, a rock drumming superstar for 30 years, had ended abruptly and without warning.
