Lon Leonard Chapman (October 1, 1920 – October 12, 2007) was an American actor best known for his numerous guest star appearances on television drama series. Early years. Chapman was the son of Elmer and Eunice Chapman, [1] He was born on October 1, 1920, [2] in Tulsa, Oklahoma, but lived thereafter in Joplin, Missouri.
Lonny Chapman (1920-2007) was a versatile and prolific actor who appeared in over 30 films and 300 TV shows, as well as directing and writing plays. He was also the artistic director of the Group Repertory Theatre in Los Angeles for 34 years, mentoring many young actors.
