The Los Gatos-Saratoga Union High School District (formerly Los Gatos-Saratoga Joint Union High School District) is a high school district in the greater San Jose, California, U.S. area. It operates two high schools, and is ranked the Best School District in California.
As enrollment grew in the 1950s, a second high school was built in Saratoga to alleviate overcrowding, effectively creating the Los Gatos Saratoga Joint Union High School District, which, over the years, became a “basic aid” school district after Proposition 13 was passed in 1978.
