Jud Parker (Larry Parks), a talent agent from New York, is in the hinterlands of Connecticut on business when he meets a beautiful dance teacher named Anastacia (Elizabeth Taylor). Having no interest in a relationship, Jud flees when she tries to introduce him to her mother, Mrs. Macaboy (Josephine Hutchinson).
