From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia. Ludmila of Poděbrady Polish: Ludmiła Podiebrad; (16 October 1456 – Legnica, 20 January 1503), was a member of the House of Poděbrady and by marriage Duchess of Chojnów - Oława - Legnica - Brzeg - Lubin.
Life. She was a daughter of John of Rožmitál and his wife Ludmila of Strakonice. Marriage. Joanna married George of Poděbrady in 1450 (the marriage was probably arranged by Joanna's brother, Jaroslav Lev because her father had died in her childhood), a year after the death of his first wife Kunigunde ( Kunhuta ), by whom he had six children.

(October 16, 1456 - Legnica, January 20, 1503) was a member of the House of Poděbrady, and by her marriage became Duchess of Hojnów-Oława-Legniza-Brzeg-Rubin. She was the youngest daughter of Johanna of Lozimitar (Johanka zu Ložimitar), the second wife of George of Podebrady (elected King of Bohemia in 1458).
