To commemorate the 100th anniversary of Auguste and Louis Lumiere's first moving film, Romane Bohringer sought out fellow filmmakers, requesting that they shoot short movies on cameras similar to the one used by the French brothers. Among those who said yes were Spike Lee, Arthur Penn and Wim Wenders.
