Maggie Wheeler (born Margaret Emily Jakobson, August 7, 1961) is an American movie and television actress. She is best known for her role as Janice Litman Goralnik on the sitcom Friends. She was born in Manhattan, New York on August 7, 1961.
Bio. Maggie Wheeler was born and raised in New York City. Her earliest professional work was as a voice over artist doing multiple radio spots for clients such as CBS records and MTV . In the mid 80's Maggie landed a role in the ensemble cast of The New Show, a prime time sketch comedy show for NBC, directed by Lorne Michaels of SNL.
