Maria Luisa Gabriella of Savoy (17 September 1688 – 14 February 1714), nicknamed La Savoyana, was Queen of Spain by marriage to King Philip V. She acted as regent during her husband's absence from 1702 until 1703 and had great influence as a political adviser during the War of the Spanish Succession .
Maria Luisa Gabriela of Savoy (1688-1714) was the daughter of Victor Amadeus II of Sardinia, Duke of Savoy (1666-1732). In 1701, at the age of thirteen, she was married to Philip V (1683-1746), the first Bourbon King of Spain.
