Maria Tolmay or Mara (died in 1420 or 1427) was the wife of Mircea I of Wallachia. She was the mother of his only legitimate son and co-ruler, Michael. She was born to an unidentified Hungarian noble family and owned present-day Lesencetomaj at Lake Balaton in the Kingdom of Hungary in the early 15th century.

The son of Mircea I of Wallachia and his wife, Maria Tolmay, Michael was Mircea's only legitimate son. Alexander Aldea and Vlad were Michael's most prominent illegitimate half-brothers, who, in accordance with local custom, could have claimed the throne of Wallachia. To strengthen Michael's position, his father made him his co-ruler.

According to a current hypothesis, her name was Maria Tolmay, she owned a property near Lake Balaton, in the current territory of Hungary, and she would have been the mother of Mihail, the only legitimate son of Mircea the Elder, who associated this son to reign, and later he ruled alone, after the death of Mircea, from 1418 to 1420.
