Just days after the release of Scream (2022), I had a chance to catch up with one of the producers of the film, Marianne Maddalena, who was Wes Craven’s closest and most frequent creative partner and main producer for over 20 years.
Marianne Maddalena is an American film producer. She was born in Lansing, Michigan, and was Wes Craven's producing partner for many years. They had a company together called Craven/Maddalena Films. One of their productions, Wes Craven's New Nightmare (1994) was nominated for Best Feature at the Independent Spirit Awards in 1995.
