Lindahl menehtyi jo maaliskuun 21. päivä, mutta asiaa ei ole aikaisemmin uutisoitu omaisten toiveesta. Asian vahvistaa Lindahlin puoliso Martti Kirsitie, jonka kirjeen Ylen KulttuuriCocktail on nyt julkaissut.

Sep 27, 2021 · Syksyllä 1957 Miss Maailmaksi valittiin suomalainen Marita Lindahl. Palattuaan voittoisalta kilpailumatkalta Baden-Badenista hän sai kutsun radioon Viikon vieraaksi. Uutistoimittaja Oskar Reponen ei epäröinyt tehdä lähetyksessä henkilökohtaisia kysymyksiä.
