Biography. Although most recognized for portraying Marla "What a Hitter" Hooch in 1992's hit movie "A League of Their Own," Chicago, Ill. native Megan Cavanagh began her career as a live performer. Cavanagh was one of the original members of professional theater troupe New Age Vaudeville.
