Biography. The consummate triple threat, Mekia Cox, burst on to the scene in 2009 as one of the lead dancers on Michael Jackson’s world tour turned movie “This Is It”. Not long after, Hollywood began to take notice of the Florida State University graduate when she was cast as the vivacious DJ Sasha, on CW’s hit series “90210”.
Cox’s talents also exceed what has been captured on screen. With a Bachelor of Arts degree in musical theatre and two national tours under her belt (“Fame” and “Smoke Joe’s Café”), her goal is to share her passion for storytelling with the world.
