    Meliah Rage is an American heavy metal band from Boston, Massachusetts, formed in 1986 [1] by guitarist/songwriter Anthony Nichols. They are characterized primarily as thrash metal with more classical metal melodies. The band has released 12 albums.   2. The band name was inspired by the 'Meliah' Indian tribe's practice of taking opium before going into battle. The band also recorded a song titled "These Scars". The music was recorded in 2011 during the Dead to the World sessions and the vocals in 2013. This is the first song featuring the new vocalist Marc Lopes.
