Biography. Michael Maher was born in California and grew up in Tulare. Maher graduated from Tulare Union High School in 2001. He served in the U.S. Navy from 2001 to 2005. He graduated from the U.S. Naval Academy’s Preparatory School, Fresno Pacific University, the FBI Academy at Quantico, and the U.S. Navy’s Nuclear Power School.
