Michael Bruce Quigley (/ ˈ k w ɪ ɡ l i / KWIG-lee; born October 17, 1958) is an American politician serving as the U.S. representative for Illinois's 5th congressional district since the April 7, 2009 special election. The district includes most of Chicago's North Side and several of its western suburbs. He is a member of the Democratic Party.
Biography. Mike Quigley has proudly represented Illinois' 5th District for more than 13 years. Since being elected to Congress in 2009, Mike has been devoted to fighting for our environment, small businesses, the LGBTQ community, healthcare access, and ending gun violence.
