Miles Heizer (born May 16, 1994 [1]) is an American actor. On television, he is known for portraying Alex Standall in the Netflix original series 13 Reasons Why and Drew Holt in the NBC drama series Parenthood. He has also appeared in the films Rails & Ties (2007), The Stanford Prison Experiment (2015), Nerve (2016), and Love, Simon (2018).

May 4, 2023 · The actor, known for Parenthood and 13 Reasons Why, plays a gay high schooler who joins the US Marine Corps to hide his sexuality. The Corps is based on the memoir The Pink Marine by Greg Cope White.
The series, inspired by a memoir, follows a gay high school student who joins the Marine Corps with his best friend in 1990. Vera Farmiga, Liam Oh and other actors also star in the show, which is produced by Norman Lear and Sony Pictures Television.
