Apr 19, 2022 · The brainchild of former Mayor Richard M. Daley, Millennium Park is the largest public space within the 319 acres of downtown Chicago's Grant Park. It was established in 2004 and is now one of the biggest free attractions of the city, rivaling only the Lincoln Park Zoo .
Thursday-Sunday 4-11pm, the below entrances are open to enter the park and are staffed by security (wanding and bag check) Michigan Ave. and Washington St. (through Nov. 5) Michigan and Madison. Some Park entrances may be closed as needed. If capacity is reached within the Park, entrances will temporarily close.
