Miloliʻi: Last fishing village in Hawaii. Miloliʻi is an unincorporated community on the island of Hawaiʻi in the U.S. state of Hawaii, 33 miles south of Kailua-Kona. The village is situated at the seacoast where the 1926 lava flow from Mauna Loa entered the ocean.

Mar 23, 2023 · Reached only by a steep road off Mamalahoa Highway, Miloli’i, Hawaii is full of beautiful views, breathtaking beaches, and some pretty stellar snorkeling opportunities - and not much else. The beautiful Miloli’i Beach Park is home to a variety of tropical fish and sea turtles, as well as a very small campground.

Miloli’i Beach, on the NaPali Coast, is a gorgeous stretch of white sand protected by a long barrier reef. Accessible by kayak only in the summer months when the ocean conditions are calmer, there is a small channel through the reef that one must pass to in order to land on Miloli’i Beach.
