SUPPORTING THE ZOO. What began as an informal group of community leaders dedicated to raising funds for and bringing animals to the Zoo in 1910 has grown into a full non-profit organization now dedicated to conservation and education while continuing our original mission to support the Milwaukee County Zoo.
The Milwaukee County Zoo will inspire public understanding, support, and participation in global conservation of animal species and their environment by creating a unifying bond between our visitors and the living earth and provide an environment for personal renewal and enjoyment for our guests. Milwaukee County residents with I.D. receive $1.75 off full price paid admission every day except Wednesday. On Wednesdays, Milwaukee County residents are admitted at a reduced rate of $10.50 for adults and $8.00 for children (age 3 to 12).
