Battleship Memorial Park is a military history park and museum on the western shore of Mobile Bay in Mobile, Alabama. Its notable aircraft and museum ships include the South Dakota -class battleship USS Alabama and Gato -class submarine USS Drum.

Mar 1, 2024 · Mobile Bay, arm of the Gulf of Mexico, extending 35 miles (56 km) north from its outlet to the mouth of the Mobile River in southwestern Alabama, U.S. It is 8–18 miles (13–29 km) wide and has a dredged channel (45 feet [14 metres] deep, 300–500 feet [90–150 metres] wide) that enters the Gulf.
Mobile Bay is the fourth-largest estuary in the United States with a discharge of 62,000 cubic feet (1,800 m3) of water per second. Annually, and often several times during the summer months, the fish and crustaceans will swarm the shallow coastline and shore of the bay.
