Modern Burdens is a 2017 studio album by American alternative rock musician Tracy Bonham, re-recording her 1996 debut release The Burdens of Being Upright. This release received positive critical reception. Recording was enabled by a crowdfunding campaign on PledgeMusic and the album was supported with a tour.

Wax & Gold and Modern Burdens (2015–present) After 2015's Wax & Gold, Bonham released a re-recorded version of her debut album entitled Modern Burdens in 2017. Personal life. Bonham currently splits her time between Woodstock, New York, and Brooklyn, New York City. She is married to Rolling Stone executive editor Jason Fine.
