Jul 8, 2018 · Mothman is a large creature thought to inhabit the TNT area located just outside of Point Pleasant, West Virginia. This winged creature first appeared on November 12, 1966 in front of five men who were digging a grave in Clendenin, West Virginia (approximately 1 hour and 20 minutes away from Point Pleasant).
The Mothman's enigmatic nature, peculiar sightings and alleged supernatural connections ensure its place as one of the most compelling and enduring cryptid legends of our time. Subject to ongoing debate — especially without any concrete evidence of existence — the Mothman continues to defy easy classification or explanation.
