Dr. Gautam's research is focused on understanding underlying mechanisms that contribute to vulnerability of motor neurons in the context of amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS). He is particularly interested in exosomes-mediated cellular communication, epigenetic regulation of gene expression, and identification of targets for therapy development.
