It's just a real bad ride down an emotional wormhole. Requiem for a Pastel Dream. McLoughlin brings some remarkable flourishes to Murder of Innocence, especially the harsh scenes of reality breaking down, with an especially chilling finale that is handled like a true master of horror. As unsettling as it is sad.
