Thanks!! It's a little brute forcey. Each dot is a Sprite3D that I instance on _ready. I'm using a MeshDataTool object to read some preloaded mesh data, find every vertex position, then I lerp each Sprite3D's position onto that new position, with some random Vector3s thrown in to make it look dynamic.
