Twilight Sparkle and Spike are helping Applejack harvest apples when Twilight receives a letter from Princess Celestia containing two tickets to the Grand Galloping Gala. Applejack says that if she goes to the gala, she will open an apple stand to earn money for her family. Suddenly, Rainbow Dash crash-lands on top of them and asks about the tickets. Twilight considers the issue as she and Spike sit at a table outside a restaurant waiting for their food. She soon notices other ponies rushing inside and realizes it's raining everywhere except at their table. Looking up, Twilight finds Rainbow Dash watching from behind a hole in the clouds just above them and admonishes her not to perform favors in order to get the spare ticket. The Ticket Master Twilight ultimately decides to return the two tickets to the Grand Galloping Gala after it caused a rift amongst her friends, but to her surprise, Celestia sends a ticket for everypony, replying none of this would've happened if she could've just asked for more tickets.
