Tom Reed brings his famous rodeo show to the kingdom of Alvonia, where ten-year-old King Charles V becomes more interested in the show than the new tax bill. After a talk with his new buddy Tom, Charles is inspired to treat his populace honestly.

The King of a small European country, just a boy, takes an interest in Tom Reed's wild west show. Tom puts on a special show just for the King and the two become friends. When the King takes Tom's advice instead of the Count's, the Count has the King kidnapped planning to kill him.
