  5. Nov 11, 2013 · However, I cannot give the book full marks due to the significant number of typos, which spoilt the flow somewhat; the book would have benefitted from a final proofread. This aside, Nan Hagan’s novel is fun, colourful and diverting and includes some nice satirical sideswipes and knowing nods to the detective genre, to which it is a nice addition.
