Nancy Louise Kyes, known professionally as Nancy Loomis, is an American former actress. A frequent collaborator of filmmaker John Carpenter, she portrayed Annie Brackett in Halloween (1978) and also appeared in his films Assault on Precinct 13 (1976) and The Fog (1980).
In this film, she is portrayed by Nancy Kyes, who briefly reprises the role in the sequel Halloween II (1981). Kyes's image is used to reference the character throughout the franchise except for in the remake (2007) and its sequel (2009), in which she is portrayed by Danielle Harris.
