Located on over 200 acres of land The Nashville Zoo at Grassmere is a member of the AZA – the Association of Zoos and Aquariums. Grassmere, located 6 miles outside of Nashville, was a large historic plantation with farmhouse deeded in the late 1980s to the Children’s Museum of Nashville and thereafter developed into a wild life park.
