- Reach Out Today
You are probably here because you are feeling misunderstood and unsure what to do to help others understand you. It can be hard to reach out when you are struggling, and I am happy that you are considering getting help to change how you feel. Even if you feel lost, there are things you can do to find your way again! I would be honored to be a part of your journey to healing. Here’s some information about me and the services I offer: I am an independently licensed counselor (LPCC) through the state of Ohio. I serve individuals aged 18 to 99 (or above if needed!) who are in the LGBTQ+ community, who have been hurt by others, and who find relating to others difficult. I want to work with you to create a space where you feel safe and valued, because you are worthy!
I invest in several trainings per year to help me stay current. I value research and exploring new methods of working with individuals, as no one treatment is “one size fits all” and I want to work with you to find the best fit. I am an ally for the LGBTQ+ community and racial and gender equality. I am committed to helping your progress through treatment at a pace that feels safe. I meet you where you are, and you guide me from there. I am genuinely invested in the goals you set and how we can best get there together. I welcome feedback and ask for it often, as this process is about you and your needs, and I will do what I can to serve those needs. Some goals we may work on are: – Having healthier relationships with friends, family, and partners – Not thinking so much about past hurts – Feeling more confident in yourself and what you can do – Self-compassion – Regulating emotions
I obtained a Master of Arts in Mental Health Counseling from the University of Cincinnati. I obtained an Undergraduate in Psychology with a Minor in Entrepreneurship from Ball State University. I have completed trainings in CBT and histrionic, borderline, narcissistic, and antisocial personality disorder, and trauma-informed training. I am currently working to get certified in eye movement desensitization reprocessing (EMDR) for trauma.
I love spending time with my partner and dog going on adventures (such as runs, climbs, hikes, etc.). I also enjoy spending time out with friends and family, whether that be going out to eat or doing something spontaneous like get a reiki session! I also really like reading and playing video games.
We will get started by having a 15 minute phone call so I can learn more about what you’re looking for help with, and how I can help. You can schedule your free 15 minute phone consultation right now by clicking on the button below, where you’ll be able to schedule an appointment through my online calendar. You can also request your free 15 minute phone consultation with me by sending me an email, texting me, or calling me at 513-400-4613. Please Note: I am currently not accepting new clients.
