Nate Augspurger (born January 31, 1990) is an American rugby union player from Minneapolis, Minnesota [1] who plays scrum-half for the Chicago Hounds in Major League Rugby (MLR). Professional rugby career. Augspurger has been a member of the United States national rugby sevens team since the 2012–13 Sevens World Series.

Nate Augspurger. The 33-year-old Minneapolis native spent the first six seasons of his MLR career with the San Diego Legion. After signing with New York in the 2023 offseason, Augspurger entered into the Dispersal Draft held in December. The NOLA Gold selected Augspurger in the first round. The Hounds then traded for Augspurger.
