Nature Is Speaking is an ongoing environmental awareness campaign by Conservation International that was launched in 2014. [1] The campaign is developed by TBWA\Media Arts Lab and produced by RadicalMedia for Conservation International. [2] It was conceptualized by Peter Seligmann and Lee Clow [3] and its launch was led by M. Sanjayan.
Nature Is Speaking is a series of films that personify different aspects of nature narrated by celebrities. The films aim to reframe why conservation is important and reinforce the message that people need nature.
The message was simple: People need nature. More than 20 years later, this simple message is more important than ever. The environment has become a political, polarizing issue.
