- Visit Schlitterbahn. Ok, it’s an obvious first choice for things to do in New Braunfels…but I can’t start this guide any other way! My childhood was full of visits to this EPIC waterpark in Texas.
- Wurstfest in New Braunfels. Ok, I’m still being Captain Obvious here, but I seriously need to list this one next. Wurstfest is SO much fun, and this German fall festival is one of the top things to do in New Braunfels….but it only happens at a very specific time of year.
- Visit Landa Park. Landa Park really is the crown jewel of New Braunfels. It’s beautiful! It’s a 51-acre park with giant oak trees, walking trails, and a peaceful ambiance.
- Float the Comal River. People go to New Braunfels with the sole intention to float the river…and do nothing else. So if you really want to know one of the most popular activities in New Braunfels, it’s floating the river.
