James Gang was an American rock band formed in Cleveland, Ohio in 1966. [2] The band went through a variety of line-up changes until they recorded their first album as a power trio consisting of Joe Walsh (guitars, lead vocals), Tom Kriss (bass) and Jim Fox (drums). Dale Peters replaced Kriss on bass for the band's second and third albums.

Dec 8, 2018 · Newborn is my last James Gang long play. The material and the musicianship have slipped majorly. Once one of the best American funky prog rock bands, they no longer are of any interest to me. That is a great album cover for sure. Kind of reminds me of some vacations I went on when I was younger.
