Meanwhile, Marco Polo's mother died, and an aunt and uncle raised him. He received a fine education, learning mercantile subjects, appraising, and the handling of cargo ships.
Nicole Anna Polo (born Defuseh) was born in between 1192 and 1252. Nicole married Niccolò Polo of San Grisostomo (trader who explored the Orient, Italian traveling merchant). Niccolò was born in between Circa 1225 and Circa 1230. They had one son: Marco Emilio Polo (famous explorer; famous author). Nicole passed away.
