Oct 19, 1990 · In the original film, the zombies presided over a long night of terror, attacking seven normal people barricaded inside a farmhouse. The creatures attacked again in Romero's " Dawn of the Dead " (1979), which was a superb horror film, and in his " Day of the Dead " (1985), which was not.
An official remake, written by Romero and directed by Tom Savini, was released in 1990. Plot. Night of the Living Dead (full film) Siblings Barbra and Johnny drive to a cemetery in rural Pennsylvania to visit their father's grave, where a pale man in a tattered suit kills Johnny and attacks Barbra.
