Singer-songwriter Robert Earl Keen, a Houston native, released his self-produced debut album, No Kinda Dancer, in 1984. Since then, he’s released eighteen albums with both indie and major record labels.
Notable for "The Front Porch Song" co-written by Lyle Lovett. The horn section arrangement for the title track was done by Austin-based tubist Dan Augustine, who also played on the original recorded version.
