Noguchi is iconic and now, for me, so is his museum. Really worth a trip. The open air parts coupled with the sculpture garden and gift shop make it truly unique. Then walk out the door to the Socrates Sculpture park and you're good to go. Written March 30, 2021.

Website. noguchi .org. Museum entrance. The Noguchi Museum, chartered as The Isamu Noguchi Foundation and Garden Museum, is a museum and sculpture garden in the Long Island City section of Queens, New York City, designed and created by the Japanese American sculptor Isamu Noguchi (1904–1988).
Sep 30, 2021 · Noguchi is jointly organized and curated by Barbican Centre (London), Museum Ludwig (Köln) and Zentrum Paul Klee (Bern), in partnership with LaM – Lille Métropole Musée d’art moderne, d’art contemporain et d’art brut. It is the first touring retrospective of Isamu Noguchi’s work in Europe in twenty years.
Book a Visit. Masks are recommended, but not required. Masks may be required for participation in select public tours and education programs, at the Museum’s discretion. Members and free program partners may visit any time during open hours (last entry is at 5:30 pm) without making a reservation.
Visit the Shop. The Noguchi Museum Shop is a music-filled showroom for Isamu Noguchi’s Akari light sculptures and a sales space for artists and designers whose work embodies Noguchi’s legacy of craft and form.
The Noguchi Museum Shop presents six rare models of Akari light sculptures designed by Isamu Noguchi in the early 1950s.
