May 6, 2021 · One of best things to do in Northfield is Northfield’s most significant historical events is the downfall of Jesse James and the Younger gang. From 1868 till 1876, Jesse James rode with a group of earlier Confederate guerrillas known as the James-Younger Gang, with members the brothers Frank and Jesse James, and Bob, Jim, Cole, and John Younger.
